     Meet our Messianic Minister/Teacher, George Hunt

George has been the full time Messianic leader of Roots of the Messiah since 2001 and has been an Elder of the congregation since its inception in 1998.  He also serves on the Board for Standing Strong, a ministry supporting believers in Israel. 

George holds a B.A. in Finance and a minor in Actuarial Science.  He graduated 1985 from the University of Illinois, Champaign Urbana. 

After to moving to Evergreen Colorado in 1992, George has spent a number of years with Postgraduate studies including gaining his Minister's License.  He is presently working towards his Masters of Theology in Rabbinic Studies.

Prior to becoming the Messianic Minister of Roots of the Messiah, he has been active with his faith in many different ways including short term discipleship work in Russia (Tatarstan); spending at least 9 years as a Congregational Leader/Elder and  at least 21 years as Bible Study Teacher. 

Outside the Congregation, George enjoys spending time with his wife Cindy who he has been married to since 1985.  They both enjoy the outdoors and spending time with their four children.
